Below you will find an overview of the five stages that an application to The Shepherd School follows on its journey from pre-enquiry through to enrollment.

Stage 3: Review Process

As soon as we receive a complete application from you, your file will undergo a detailed review by our Admissions Committee and the outcome of that will be communicated to you as soon as posible.

4

Stage 4: Committee Decision

When the Admissions Committee has reached a decision, this is communicated to you via email. There are three main possible outcomes:

The candidate is accepted.

If your application is successful and we have a suitable space available, you will be offered a place at our school.

The candidate is offered a space on the waiting list.

Sometimes, we have a number of candidates competing for the same spot, and in such cases, some applicants, unfortunately, have to be offered spaces on the waiting list.

The candidate is not accepted.

Sadly, we do sometimes have to deny admission to candidates. This normally occurs when the Admissions Committee feels that The Shepherd School would not be the most appropriate environment for the child, based on the services we offer and our admission policy. In such instances, we try our best to assist families in finding a suitable alternative.

Stage 5: New Beginnings at The Shepherd School

If your child is accepted, you will be asked to pay the Year’s/ Term’s tuition fee to finalise the enrollment and secure their place.

Following a child’s registration, they will be placed by the school administration in their appropriate year. Enrolment in a school year is determined only by a child’s age on 1st September of the current academic year.

Over the following months, you will receive a variety of information welcoming you to the school.

We look forward to welcoming you to our community!
