Civic Education covers issues that are important to the development and transformation of young Nigerians into responsible, responsive and active citizens.

Due to the importance of the subject, it is taught at both the junior and senior secondary school level. The goal is to prepare learners as world class citizens who proffer solutions to problems faced in their immediate environment and beyound.
